The Parks of the Val di Cornia
In Tuscany, tell a thousand-year-old story which begins with the Etruscan people and bears witness to centuries of extraction and working on metals, proposing also splendid natural, coastal and hilly environments. The system includes 2 Archaeological Parks, Natural Parks, 3 Museums, 1 Documentation Centre, included in the area of the five municipalities at the extreme south of the province of Livorno, opposite the Island of Elba.

Another interesting destination is the famous Oasis of Bolgheri, an important fauna refuge, known as one of the most important damp areas, where is possible to observe the numerous migratory aquatic birds and the splendid vegetation.

Parco Gallorose
It is a wildlife center and a farm where they breed exotic animals and farm animals with great interest in the breed native Tuscany: Amiata donkeys, sheep, Monterufoli pony, Pisan cow, pigs of Cinta Senese, a total of about 180 races of animals in an area of about 50,000 square meters land. The flora of the park is varied: many Mediterranean species and many other geographical areas. Characteristic are the old tools with which they worked different jobs, which can be seen walking the streets of the company.

Arcipelago Toscano National Park
The Largest Marine Park in the Mediterranean
Arcipelago Toscano National Park is the largest marine Park in Europe: it safeguards 56,766 hectares of sea and 17,887 hectares of land. It includes the seven main islands of the Archipelago, some minor islands and cliffs. Like pearls in a necklace, these islands are different one from the other. Each of them preserves traces of its history, each of them is unique; their only common feature is represented by the beauty of the nature.

Natural Park Migliarino - San Rossore - Massaciuccoli
Migliarino, San Rossore, Massaciuccoli Regional Park was established in 1979. It covers over 24,000 hectares situated along the coast from Viareggio and Livorno. Although it lies in the middle of a strongly urbanized area, this territory has maintained considerable natural features, and here it is possible to find one of the rare examples of non-building coastal area.

La Macchia della Magona
A sea of green spreading over 1,600 hectares, this protected natural area – once a timber reserve - can be visited all year round and is an ideal holiday location for nature or sports enthusiasts. There are sixteen routes for excursions on foot, horseback or mountain bike through 50 km of typically Tuscan scenery, dense with Mediterranean vegetation. There are broadleaf and pine woods on the plains and hills and along the ditches. Broom, Holm-oak, strawberry trees, maple and elm grow in the woods together with many shrubs typical of the Mediterranean scrub. The Macchia della Magona is an ideal habitat for numerous animals - the wild boar, roe deer, fallow deer, mouflon, hare, fox, porcupine, badger, squirrel and pine marten all make their home here, while snipe, woodpigeon and buzzard are some of the migratory birds that stop to rest.
